Today is a milestone for Sandstar Creative, after month’s of business courses, HMRC webinars and learning new social media tricks the website is finally live and I am now an officially self-employed freelancer. From being made redundant in the beginning of the year to finally setting up my own business I feel quite proud.
It is amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it and even though it was daunting at times I feel we should all take risks in life, we only have one right?
I find the all process from the insecurities caused by redundancy to the excitement of starting my own business fascinating, it certainly was an emotional roller coaster but a learning curve too. The mind is an astonishing tool and we can achieve great things when we take a step back and do the things you really want to do. Try not to listen to negative people and be inspired by inspirational people – I really like the following Banksy quote…
So let’s all raise a glass to the new Sandstar Creative website and share the word.
